Nicholson Okwori (Nicholson) is a Legal Practitioner with vast experience in Real Estate transactions, Corporate Governance, Legal Regulatory Services, Risk and Compliance Management. He is the principal partner of Anchor Partners a firm of Legal Practitioners skilled in delivering bespoke legal services in major cities of Nigeria. He had provided Legal & regulatory services to Vodacom Business Africa (Nigeria) where he helped support the board and management to stabilize, grow the business, and maintain its market lead across Africa and the EBU. After his sojourn in Vodacom, he joined Natcom Development & Investment Ltd., where he helped build the compliance regime for the company post privatization era a major restructuring was successfully implemented. On the humanitarian and social welfare front, Nicholson had variously and actively been involved in field work for the prestigious CeCe Yara Foundation in Lagos where he helped mapped all the safe houses and designated institutions situated in Eti-Osa. Additionally, he had participated as resourced personnel in the implementation of various programs for the JODED Foundation in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and elsewhere in Nigeria recording immense success.

In addition to heading the legal unit for the Foundation, Nicholson had succeeded in injecting so many laudable strategies into the Foundation. Nicholson earned a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Benue State University, Makurdi and a Telecoms mini-MBA from Falconbury. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN), and the Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). He has over 15 years of cumulative work experience, spread across Telecoms, General Legal Practice, Properties and Real Estate, Commerce and Industry and many more. Nicholson is keen on providing solutions to clients and passionate about solving emergent transactional problems.
