Deji is a core professional and astute business leader with progressive exposure and post-graduation experience of more than 34 years spread across various strategic business segments & industries in Nigeria. These include but not limited to real estate, insurance, oil & gas, retirement savings & pension fund administration, educational institution, as well as liaisons with relevant regulatory/tax authorities.

Deji was the Chief Financial Officer (from 2016 – 2021) to Twin Lakes Estate Management Company, a private limited liability organization managing a multibillion real estate investment assets located within Lekki axis in Lagos. At various times, he was also in the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Manager – Finance, Investment & Operations and Manager – Finance Strategy & Fund Administration at Chevron Nigeria Closed Pension Administrator that manages a multinational company’s employees’ retirement benefits scheme regulated by National Pension Commission (PenCom).

Prior to this time, Deji was the Head of the Finance Team providing dedicated financial services to Drilling & Completion Department (“Wells”) of Chevron Nigeria Limited (an oil & gas company with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria) for a period of about 5 years. At various stages in his career at Chevron Nigeria Limited, he led many project teams and participated actively in strategic business assignments on employees’ retirement benefits scheme restructuring, deployments of enterprise solution modules (business software applications), joint venture partners engagements, accounts payables and treasury management, business process reviews and optimization as well as digitalization and cost savings initiatives.

Deji in the earlier part of his professional career had also worked as an Accountant with Headquarters Accounts (Finance Department) of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in 1991 after leaving Niger Insurance Plc in 1990 as Assistant Superintendent (Accounts). Deji is strategic in his pursuits with great attention to details and strong commitment to deliver excellent results achieved through integrity, transparency and professional ethics to meet and exceed customers’ expectations. He enjoys providing management consultancy services and financial guidance mostly on pro-bono basis to assist Micro & Small Scales Entrepreneurs in their businesses.

Deji holds a BSc Degree in Accounting (Hons) and Masters of Business Administration (Executive) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly known as University of Ife), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He also obtained a Pro-graduate Diploma in Management from University of Liverpool (United Kingdom). Deji is a certified member of the following professional bodies regulating relevant business and professional practices in Nigeria; - Fellow (FCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) – 2008, - Fellow (FCTI), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) - 2006 - Associate (ANIM), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), 2000.
